Test automation specialist
As a test automation specialist, you'll set the lines for our custom automation frameworks. In doing so, you will take a team of our test automation engineers in tow, sharpen their skills and support their growth. You'll do all this in close collaboration with our clients and team members.
The skills you possess
You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation testing.
You have strong analytical thinking skills and an eye for detail.
You are proactive, enjoy working together as part of a team and feel comfortable in a cross-functional environment.
You are customer focused and focus on delivering real value, not just test results.
You combine strong technical skills with strong communication skills.
You have experience with test methodologies such as:
- Functional testing (UI, API, end-to-end, integration)
- Non-functional testing (performance, reliability, accessibility)
- Exploratory testing and risk-based testing
You have experience or knowledge with one or more of these technologies:
- Programming languages: Java, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python
- Test automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium
- CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
- Performance testing tools such as Gatling or K6
- Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana or Datadog
What you will do
You will work as a Quality Engineer within a cross-functional delivery team and take responsibility for the quality of both the product and the codebase.
You put a strong focus on test automation by designing, building, and maintain.
You perform targeted manual testing as needed, always with the right focus and intent.
You apply best practices around Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and actively promote these within the team.
You support product owners and stakeholders in defining clear acceptance criteria and validating functional requirements. validating functional requirements.
You continuously work on improvements within processes, frameworks and tooling.
You work closely with developers, DevOps engineers and product teams to deliver quality digital products.
You contribute to the creation and improvement of testing strategies consistent with modern CI/CD pipelines.
