Performance specialist
As a performance specialist, you will have a fun job on our team. You perform load and stress tests on applications and are responsible for supporting customers in their mission to a successful go-live.
Together with them you will investigate the pain points and guide them in optimizing their applications and software.
The skills you possess
You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in performance testing.
You have a technical background, preferably with a bachelor's or master's degree.
You combine strong technical skills with strong communication skills.
You are analytical and critical, with an eye for detail.
You take initiative and dare to make choices.
You are customer-oriented and go for quality, not half-measures.
You have Basic knowledge of software architecture and cloud-native development.
You have experience or knowledge with one or more of these tools:
- jMeter, Gatling, K6, Blazemeter, NeoLoad
- WebPageTest, Google Lighthouse
- InfluxDB, Telegraph, Grafana, Kibana
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, CircleCI or similar platforms are no stranger to you.
What you will do
You perform load and stress tests with common frameworks such as Gatling or K6 to thoroughly assess the performance of software and applications.
You analyze the test results, follow up on monitoring and help developers detect problems and implement concrete optimizations.
You put your knowledge of performance testing methodologies to targeted use and know which approach works in which environment.
You guide clients in creating realistic scenarios and the right metrics and facilitate test and war room sessions.
You communicate clearly and succeed in making complex technical topics understandable to stakeholders and other non-technical profiles.
